Flood Disaster Protection Act. The subrecipient will comply with Section 102(a) of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, Public Law 93-234, 87 Stat. 975, requiring that the purchase of flood insurance in communities where such insurance is available as a condition of the receipt of any federal financial assistance for construction or acquisition purposes for use in any area that has been identified as an area having special flood hazards.
Flood Disaster Protection Act. If the Project is located in an area that has been identified by the Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency as an area having special flood hazards and if the sale of flood insurance has been made available under the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, the Owner agrees that it will obtain coverage of the Project, during its anticipated eco- nomic or useful life, by flood insurance in an amount at least equal to its development or project cost (less estimated land cost) or to the maximum limit of coverage made available with respect to the particular type of property under the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, whichever is less.
Flood Disaster Protection Act. Within sixty (60) days, the Association shall revise its policies, procedures and systems related to flood insurance (Flood Program) to address all corrective actions set forth in the 2010 XXX relating to flood insurance and to comply with the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 and the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 4001-4129, as implemented by Part 572 of the OTS’s Rules and Regulations, 12 C.F.R. Part 572 (Flood Laws and Regulations), and the applicable regulatory guidance.
