Common use of FLSA Exempt Employee Clause in Contracts

FLSA Exempt Employee. An employee in a position whose duties meet one of the exemptions from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. FLSA exempt employees are paid on a salaried basis and are not eligible for overtime compensation, including call-back pay under this Agreement. FLSA exempt employees will be paid on the exempt four step and exempt six step scales.
