Follow-up Services. The Subrecipient shall provide follow-up services to participants who are placed in unsubsidized employment. Subrecipient shall conduct follow-up for Quarters 1, 2, 3 and 4 following the participant’s exit. The intensity of appropriate follow-up services may vary among customers. Follow-up services may include but are not limited to: additional career planning and counseling; contact with the customer’s employer, including assistance with work-related problems that may arise; peer support groups; information about additional educational opportunities, and referral to supportive services available in the community. Follow-up services must include more than only a contact attempt or a contact attempt made for the purpose of securing documentation in order to report a performance outcome. The goal of these services is to ensure job retention, wage gains, and career progress for customers who have been referred to unsubsidized employment.
