Common use of Forced Outages Clause in Contracts

Forced Outages. During any forced outage, the Transmission Provider may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the Transmission Provider's Transmission System. The Transmission Provider shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the Transmission Provider shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.

Forced Outages. During any forced outage, the Transmission Provider Owner may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the Transmission Provider's Owner’s Transmission System. The Transmission Provider Owner shall use Reasonable Efforts to provide the Interconnection Customer with prior notice. If prior notice is not given, the Transmission Distribution Provider shall, upon request, provide the Interconnection Customer written documentation after the fact explaining the circumstances of the disconnection.
