FOREST EUROPE (Ministerial. Conference on the Protection of Forests in Europe) is the high level political process in pan-European region focusing on promotion and further development of sustainable forest management. Since 1st January 2016 the Slovak Republic has held the chairmanship of FOREST EUROPE and based on assignment of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, the National Forest Centre fulfils the role of the secretariat through the coordinating unit called Liaison Unit Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as “LUB”).
