Formal activities o course of study (see clause 43.3.2 below); o conferences, seminars and workshops; o short course of study i.e., Project Management (see clause 43.3.3 below); o specific work related training i.e. Radiation Safety Officer; o study to achieve a higher qualification; and o additional responsibilities i.e. ,First Aid Officer; 43.3.1 In addition, L&D activities may fall into the following three categories: training and development needs in respect of current duties which are reflected in the individual’s APA; career and / or personal development activities that align with longer term goals of the individual and / or work unit and / or AIMS (Personal Development Plan within the APA);and professional development and networking which includes attendance at relevant conferences, seminars and presentations by related professional bodies.

  • Commercial Activities Neither Contractor nor its employees shall establish any commercial activity or issue concessions or permits of any kind to Third Parties for establishing commercial activities on the Site or any other lands owned or controlled by Owner.

  • Promotional Activities ‌ 19 At the request of North Sound BH-ASO, Provider shall display promotional materials in its 20 offices and facilities as practical, in accordance with applicable law and cooperate with and 21 participate in all reasonable marketing efforts. Provider shall not use any North Sound BH- 22 ASO name in any advertising or promotional materials without the prior written permission of 23 North Sound BH-ASO.

  • Outreach Activities a. The Agency shall conduct outreach activities for potential Clients to promote the availability of services. b. Outreach activities shall include, but are not limited to, participation in health fairs, community events, collaboration with other providers, and the posting of flyers for potential Clients. c. The Agency shall have an outreach plan and shall provide evidence of such arrangements to the Recipient upon request.

  • Professional Activities The Superintendent is expected to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local and state levels, and, subject to prior Board approval, at the national level. All reasonable expenses incurred shall be paid by the Board.
