Common use of Formal Leaves of Absence Clause in Contracts

Formal Leaves of Absence. Leave of absence may be granted for personal reasons for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days upon written application of the employee and approval of the Personnel Director in writing, and there are other employees in the plant capable of doing the employee's work. Leaves of absence may be extended upon further approval by the Personnel Director in writing.
