Formal Level 1. If a complaint is not resolved in a conference between the affected employee(s) and his/her immediate supervisor, the complaint may be formalized as a grievance. A formalized grievance shall be submitted, in writing, within five (5) days of the informal meeting between the supervisor and the affected employee(s).
