Common use of FOURDRINIER WIRE ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

FOURDRINIER WIRE ALLOWANCE. Tour Workers called to put on Fourdrinier Wires at a time other than their regular tour and are dismissed before their tour is scheduled to begin shall be paid for the time worked plus three (3) hours but not less than a total of six (6) hours on any one wire. If tour workers are called to put on a Fourdrinier Wire before their shift is scheduled to begin and work through into their regular shift they shall be paid for the time worked plus three (3) hours. If tour workers are asked to remain after their shift is scheduled to end, to put on a Fourdrinier Wire, they shall be paid for the time worked plus three (3) hours. The above shall also apply to tour workers when working on machines other than their own. In cases where more than one machine is involved, the above allowance shall be paid for each machine. Tour workers asked to assist to put on a Fourdrinier Wire on a machine other than their own during their regular shift, shall receive three (3) hours extra time, but in no case shall more than three (3) hours extra time be allowed.
