Free-choice scheme. The free-choice model was established as a means of accommodating individual employ- ee requests regarding time off, pension and wages. It is a condition that choices are made in consideration of the need to continue to ensure efficient and competitive production at the individual enterprise. From 27 February 2017, 4.95% of the employee's holiday-qualifying wages is allocated to the free-choice account. From 26 February 2018, 5.65% of the employee's holiday-qualifying wages is allocated to the free-choice account. From 29 February 2019, 6.25% of the employee's holiday-qualifying wages is allocated to the free-choice account.
