From Extended Leave. An employee intending to return to work upon expiration of an extended leave of absence, or intending to request an extension of such leave, shall give notice of his/her intention to the school's administrator (or designee) as early as practical, normally not later than ten (10) working days prior to expiration. Failure to return to work upon expiration of the leave, may be treated as a resignation.
