Common use of From Leaves Clause in Contracts

From Leaves. Upon return from leaves, in this section, employees will be assigned to the same position held prior to taking such leave. If the position is not available, employees will be placed in a comparable position held prior to the taking of such leave. However, an employee returning from an approved maternity leave will be assigned to the same position held prior to taking such leave, provided such leave does not exceed one year. The term "comparable" shall be defined as follows for the purpose of placement of approved leaves.
