Common use of Full Salary Benefit Clause in Contracts

Full Salary Benefit. The intent of this Article is to allow an employee to continue receiving a full base salary so long as the employee is disabled and receiving worker’s compensation benefits until sick leave and annual leave hours are exhausted. No employee shall receive a total compensation in a particular time period for workers compensation benefits and sick leave benefits and/or annual leave benefits, or any combination thereof, which exceeds the regular base salary of the employee for that time period.
