Common use of Full-Time Positions Clause in Contracts

Full-Time Positions. (i) Employees on a part-time basis shall be hired to fill full-time vacant positions for which they are qualified prior to Teachers being newly employed by the Authority, provided they have requested a full-time position by application to the Authority. (ii) If more than one employee is qualified for such assignment, the employee with the greatest seniority as defined in the agreement shall be assigned to the position.
