Common use of General Competence Clause in Contracts

General Competence. In addition to the normal job requirements, Bargaining Unit Members shall maintain such levels of professional competence as may be required to successfully discharge their professional responsibilities, which are within the scope of their certification and qualifications. The standards of competence shall minimally be consistent with criteria developed under the Teachers' Tenure Act, the Revised School Code, and the Board's performance evaluation system.
