General Members on Board Committees. Any active member of the Union may be appointed by the State President to serve on any committee; provided, however, that a majority of each com- mittee, except for the Alternative Contracts Committee (ACC), must be Board of Directors members. When a Judicial and Internal Affairs Committee (JIAC) member is a member of the same chapter as either the accused or the charging party, that JIAC member shall not preside over or render judgment on such case which involves alleged constitutional violations..
