All provisions of the collective bargaining agreement shall remain in full force and effect except as modified herein. The following terms and conditions apply to all alternative workweek schedules described below:
Geographic Differentials. 15.7.1 The following shall be the geographic differentials applicable to unit members hired or transferred to a different campus after the effective date of this Agreement. Unit members whose current salary, including geographic differential, exceeds the amount which would result from application of the schedule set forth below shall be frozen at the current actual amount (1) so long as the unit member remains in their current geographic differential area, or (2) until salary increases to the unit member's base salary plus geographic differential result in the unit member receiving a higher salary than the frozen amount.

Where a Bargaining Unit Member’s geographic differential is lowered during the term of the Agreement, the salary of the affected Bargaining Unit Member will be frozen for so long as they remain at their current duty station or until salary increases or changes in the Bargaining Unit Member’s position result in the member receiving a higher salary than the frozen amount. A. In the event AS 39.27.020 “Pay step differentials by election district and in other states” is amended, modified or abolished, the provisions of AS 39.27 regarding pay step differentials as so amended, modified or abolished will replace Article 24.3

A unit member whose existing geographic differential would be reduced due to modified geographic differentials shall not receive a reduction in rate of pay due to the modification.
