Geotechnical Services. The requested services consist, in general, of preparation of Geotechnical Reports to address issues relative to construction of new or rehabilitation of existing roadways, flood control channels, parks projects, or airport facilities. Certain related support services as described herein may also be requested. This General Scope of Work exemplifies the types of work that may be required including, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Life cycle costs and rehabilitation/reconstruction methods for pavements 2. Geotechnical design of various foundations and/or retaining structures 3. Embankment restoration and construction considerations 4. Settlement analysis and mitigation 5. Liquefaction evaluation and mitigation 6. In-situ ground improvements and monitoring
