Goods in Transport or Storage. 1. In accordance with Article 3.17 (Claim for Preferential Tariff Treatment), the Customs Administration of the importing Party shall grant preferential tariff treatment for an originating good of the exporting Party which, on the date of entry into force of this Agreement: (a) is in the process of being transported from the exporting Party to the importing Party; or (b) has not been released from Customs control, including an originating good stored in a warehouse regulated by the Customs Administration of the importing Party. 2. In order to make a claim for preferential tariff treatment under paragraph 1, the importer shall comply with the requirements of Article 3.17 (Claim for Preferential Tariff Treatment).
