Government Approvals and Permits. 2.5.1 Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, Contractor has the responsibility to obtain and pay for all necessary permits, approvals, licenses, government charges, and inspection fees required for the prosecution of the Work, and shall immediately deliver copies to the Owner and DP. Contractor shall follow all of Owner’s permitting and inspection procedures. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, codes, notice requirements, and regulations applicable to the site and prosecution of the Work.
