Government Contract Clause Samples

A Government Contract clause outlines the terms and conditions that apply when a party enters into an agreement with a government entity. This clause typically specifies compliance requirements with applicable laws, regulations, and procurement procedures, and may address issues such as audit rights, reporting obligations, and restrictions on subcontracting. Its core practical function is to ensure that both parties understand and adhere to the unique legal and procedural standards required in government contracting, thereby reducing the risk of non-compliance and potential disputes.
