Granting of PDUs. 1. Professional Development Units (PDUs) are granted for the following activities: a. Pre-planned, pre-approved work experience outside of regular college teaching or counseling, not to exceed ten PDU’s in any calendar year, will convert to PDUs as indicated below.

Professional Development Units (PDUs) are granted for activities that fall into one or more competency areas as noted in section A. and that promote professional growth, maintain the following activitiesquality of educational offerings, contribute to improvement of instruction and student success, and enhance the individual’s contribution to the general welfare of the college according to the structure below: a.
