Gratuity Credit Clause Samples
The Gratuity Credit clause establishes the terms under which gratuities, such as tips or service charges, are credited or allocated within a contractual relationship. Typically, this clause outlines how gratuities received from customers are distributed among employees or offset against other compensation, and may specify whether such credits count toward minimum wage obligations or other payroll calculations. Its core practical function is to ensure transparency and fairness in the handling of gratuities, preventing disputes over their allocation and compliance with relevant labor laws.
