GRIEVANCE ADJUDICATION PROCEDURE. Section 13-1a. It is specifically agreed that in the event any disputes arising out of the interpretation of this Agreement, excluding questions of jurisdiction of work or violation of Article 20, the same shall be settled by means of the procedure set out herein. No such grievance shall be recognized unless called to the attention of the Employer by the Union or to the attention of the Union by the Employer within five (5) calendar days after the alleged violation was committed, or if the violation was not ascertainable within five (5) calendar days of first knowledge of the facts giving rise to the grievance.
