Grievances by Participants. The Agency will establish a system through which applicants for and recipients of services under the Project Services Agreement may present grievances about the activities of the Agency or any of the Agency's subcontractors. The system shall provide applicants and recipients with an informal hearing before representatives of the Agency, and if the applicant or recipient be dissatisfied with the action of the informal hearing, a formal hearing with procedures comparable to the "fair hearing" procedures established in the Washington Administrative Code, Chapter 388-02 and the Administrative Procedure Act (RCW Chapter 34.05) for contested cases.

  • Employee Grievances 3.2(a) Grievances on behalf of employees shall be handled as follows:

  • Class Grievances Class grievances involving one or more supervisors and grievances involving an administrator above the building level may be initially filed by the Association at Step Two.

  • Settlement of Grievances The applicable procedures of this Agreement shall be followed for the settlement of all grievances. All grievances shall be considered carefully and processed promptly.

  • Policy Grievance – Employer Grievance The Employer may institute a grievance alleging a general misinterpretation or violation by the Union or any employee by filing a written grievance with the Bargaining Unit President, with a copy to the Labour Relations Officer within twenty (20) days after the circumstances have occurred. A meeting will be held between the parties within ten (10) days. The Union shall reply within ten (10) days after the meeting, and failing settlement, the matter may be referred to arbitration.

  • Policy Grievances ‌ Where either party to this agreement disputes the general application, interpretation or alleged violation of an article of this agreement, the dispute shall be discussed initially with the Board of Directors Human Resources Representative (or designate) or the Union within 30 calendar days of the occurrence. Where no satisfactory agreement is reached, either party, within a further 14 calendar days, may submit the dispute to arbitration, as set out in Article 9 of this agreement.

  • Union Policy Grievance or Employer Grievance A Union policy grievance or an Employer grievance may be submitted to the Employer or the Union, as the case may be, in writing, within ten (10) work days of the time circumstances upon which the grievance is based were known or should have been known by the griever. A meeting between the Employer and the Union shall be held within five (5) work days of the presentation of the written grievance and shall take place within the framework of Step 3 of Article 22.05

  • Individual Grievances Subject to and as provided in section 208 of the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act, an employee who feels that he or she has been treated unjustly or considers himself, herself aggrieved by any action or lack of action by the Employer in matters other than those arising from the classification process, is entitled to present a grievance, as in paragraph (b).

  • Employee Grievance If an employee considers there has been a significant change to the job content of the position held, the employee may initiate a grievance by using Step 1 of the Grievance Procedure. If the issue is not resolved at this step, the Job Classification Review Procedure of Article 22.02(B) above shall be utilized.

  • Employer Grievances Port grievances will be initiated at Step 2.

  • Group Grievances No more than five (5) grievants will be permitted to attend grievance meetings.
