Hazardous Waste Inspection and Reporting. Contractor reserves the right to inspect Solid Waste put out for Collection and to reject Solid Waste observed to be contaminated with Household Hazardous Waste or Hazardous Waste. In the event a Customer sets out for Collection any Household Hazardous Waste or Hazardous Waste, Contractor shall reject the material, tag the Container with instructions to the Customer for the proper method to discard of Hazardous Waste, and record the event in the Customer’s profile in Contractor’s billing system.

In addition to other required notifications, if Company observes any substances that it or its employees reasonably believe or suspect to contain Hazardous Wastes unlawfully disposed of or released on any City property, including storm drains, streets or other public rights of way, Company will immediately notify the City Manager.
