Common use of Health Insurance Eligibility Clause in Contracts

Health Insurance Eligibility. Employees shall be eligible for contribution toward health insurance premiums beginning with the first day of the month following completion of thirty (30) days of employment. For insurance purposes, all persons working for the County are required under the County’s policy to be regularly employed in order for the employee to be insured. Eligibility for County health insurance benefits is only provided to employees that are regularly employed by the County for not fewer than twenty (20) hours per week and who have made application and have been issued a Certificate of Insurance.
