Detective On-Call. Where a Detective is placed on call on a weekly basis, the Detective shall receive one (1) hour of compensatory time for being placed in on-call status.

Detective On-Call. Sworn police officers assigned as detectives may be required to respond to after- hours calls. An on call list shall be established to schedule these officers for on call status. The on call rotation schedule shall be designed such that each detective shall be designated as the on call detective for one-half (½) month. The on call detective shall be required to carry a cell phone during non-work hours for the duration of on call status for the purpose of being called to work during such non work times. The on call detective shall be required to remain within a 30-minute response time to the Central Point Police Department and shall remain intoxicant-free for the duration of the on call period. Detectives assigned on call status shall be allowed to trade on call assignments with prior approval of the Operations Commander. It is the responsibility of the detectives to ensure that the necessary personnel are made aware of any changes to the on call schedule. In the event the scheduled on call detective is unable to respond to call outs for any reason, the detective shall be required to notify the Operations Commander in order to be relieved of on call duty. In the event that no detective is available to be on call, the City may, in its sole discretion, direct a member of the police command staff to be on call.
Detective On-Call. On-call compensation for detectives shall be paid at the rate of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for any hours that the detective is on-call beginning Friday at 5:00 p.m. (1700) and ending Monday at 7:00 a.m., provided, however, that: (1) if Monday is a holiday, the on-call period shall end on the immediately following Tuesday at 7:00 a.m., and (2) if Friday is a holiday, the on-call period starts on the immediately prior Thursday at 5:00 p.m. The scheduling of on-call detectives shall be done according to the On-Call Policy. Patrol Corporal Assignments The City shall use Corporal assignments in the Patrol Division as a means of developing strong leaders and assisting Sergeants under the current squad scheduling system. Corporals are selected from active promotion eligibility lists created by Sergeants’ positions. Corporal assignments are not considered permanent and will begin with an initial term of two (2) years. An assignment may be renewed so long as the Corporal participates in the annual Department Knowledge Test. Corporals wishing extension must request such in writing prior to the expiration of their term. Just cause must exist for the City to discontinue an individual assignment. Police Officers assigned to the position of Corporal shall receive additional monthly compensation equal to one half (.5) of the difference in pay between the Patrol Officer and a Sergeant with at least five (5) years or the same number of years of service, whichever is greater.

Detective On-Call. Effective the first pay period following City Council adoption on February 6, 2018, employees assigned as a Detective shall rotate weekly to be on-call. The weekly rotation shall begin each Thursday at 5:00 PM and end the following Thursday at 5:00 PM. While assigned to be on-call, a Detective shall be able to take a Department assigned vehicle to and from work.
Detective On-Call. There shall be rotated weekly among the detectives the duty of being on- call for the work week. The term "on-call" shall mean that the detective, during the period of on-call duty, shall maintain a response time of not more than 45 minutes. The on-call detective shall be furnished with a City automobile and necessary paging equipment during the week upon which such detective is on-call. On-call detectives shall maintain themselves in a fit-for-duty condition while on-call. Detectives on-call shall be paid an additional One-hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each completed on-call week. On-call detectives may trade with detectives upon notification of detective commander on a weekly basis or any part thereof.

  • Communicable Diseases (a) The Parties to this Agreement share a desire to prevent acquisition and transmission where employees may come into contact with a person and/or possessions of a person with a communicable disease.

  • Accidents and Dangerous Occurrences The Hirer must report all accidents involving injury to the public to a member of the Village Hall management committee as soon as possible and complete the relevant section in the Village Hall’s accident book. Any failure of equipment belonging to the Village Hall or brought in by the Hirer must also be reported as soon as possible. Certain types of accident or injury must be reported on a special form to the local authority. The Hall Secretary will give assistance in completing this form. This is in accordance with the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).

  • Unbundled Loop Modifications (Line Conditioning 2.5.1 Line Conditioning is defined as routine network modification that BellSouth regularly undertakes to provide xDSL services to its own customers. This may include the removal of any device, from a copper Loop or copper Sub-loop that may diminish the capability of the Loop or Sub-loop to deliver high-speed switched wireline telecommunications capability, including xDSL service. Such devices include, but are not limited to, load coils, excessive bridged taps, low pass filters, and range extenders. Excessive bridged taps are bridged taps that serves no network design purpose and that are beyond the limits set according to industry standards and/or the XxxxXxxxx XX 00000.
