Responsibilities of the City The City’s Contract Manager will be responsible for exercising general oversight of the Contractor’s activities in completing the Scope of Work. Specifically, the Contract Manager will represent the City’s interests in resolving day-to-day issues that may arise during the term of this Contract, shall participate regularly in conference calls or meetings for status reporting, shall promptly review any written reports submitted by the Contractor, and shall approve all invoices for payment, as appropriate. The City’s Contract Manager shall give the Contractor timely feedback on the acceptability of progress and task reports.
Department Responsibilities The use of sick leave may properly be denied if these procedures are not followed. Abuse of sick leave on the part of the employee is cause for disciplinary action. Departmental approval of sick leave is a certification of the legitimacy of the sick leave claim. The department head or designee may make reasonable inquiries about employee absences. The department may require medical verification for an absence of three (3) or more working days. The department may also require medical verification for absences of less than three (3) working days for probable cause if the employee had been notified in advance in writing that such verification was necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STATE 3.2.1 The State will identify a Project Manager for the Project. The Project Manager will be the sole point of contact between the Contractor and the State. The Project Manager will be the State’s representative authorized to communicate the State’s position and directions related to all contract work and to coordinate all change orders with the Commissioner of Buildings and General Services as deemed necessary.
Districts Responsibilities 1. The DISTRICT shall provide to the ARCHITECT information regarding requirements for the PROJECT, including information regarding the DISTRICT’s objectives, schedule, and budget constraints, as well as any other criteria provided by the DISTRICT.

Responsibilities of the Contractor The Contractor shall provide all technical and professional expertise, knowledge, management, and other resources required for accomplishing all aspects of the tasks and associated activities identified in the Scope of Work. In the event that the need arises for the Contractor to perform services beyond those stated in the Scope of Work, the Contractor and the City shall negotiate mutually agreeable terms and compensation for completing the additional services.
