HEALTH TRAINING. 1. Eligibility Criteria a) Scope In addition to existing HHSA policy on sponsored educational leave a Physician Assistant, Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Public Health Nurse or a Nurse Practitioner shall be entitled to five (5) days leave without pay each year to attend courses, institutes, workshops, or classes of an educational nature, provided: 1) The employee applies in advance in writing specifying the course(s), institute(s), workshop(s), or class(es) the employee wishes to attend. 2) The employee obtains permission from the Director of Health Services to attend. 3) Such leave shall not interfere with staffing. b) No Unreasonable Denial Permission for such educational leave will not be unreasonably denied.
HEALTH TRAINING. The Parties agree that, in accordancewith its stated purposes, the Union’s TrainingFund, in addition to its standard ‘training’ functions and responsibilities, does, and is entitled to, engage in outreach, lobbying, and promotional activities concerning and relating to the overall good and welfare of the masonry industry and the broader construction industry of which the masonry industry is a part. Effective May the Employer shall remit cents ($0.15) per hour to the Union’s Training Fund, which shall be jointly and equally administered. Payments in respect of Welfare, Pension, Prepaid Legal, Health SafetyApprenticeshipand Training, Union Dues, Working Dues and Industry Fund, shall be remitted by the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following the month for which payments are due. Payments shall be accompanied by a duly completed Employer Report Form.
HEALTH TRAINING. Management shall provide on an annual basis, “Pandemic Influenza Awareness” training. This training shall include at a minimum discussion of this Supplement and the HUD Pandemic Influenza outbreak guidance.
HEALTH TRAINING. Instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.

  • Staff Training VENDOR shall ensure that all staff providing direct Services receive continuing education and training as needed or required and that such education and training is documented.
