ROADWAY DESIGN MISCELLANEOUS (ROADWAY) The Engineer shall provide the following services:
Beneficiary Designation The Participant may, from time to time, name any beneficiary or beneficiaries (who may be named contingently or successively) to whom any benefit under this Agreement is to be paid in case of his or her death before he or she receives any or all of such benefit. Each such designation shall revoke all prior designations by the Participant, shall be in a form prescribed by the Company, and will be effective only when filed by the Participant in writing with the Director of Human Resources of the Company during the Participant’s lifetime. In the absence of any such designation, benefits remaining unpaid at the Participant’s death shall be paid to the Participant’s estate.
Beneficiary Designations The Executive shall designate a beneficiary by filing a written designation with the Company. The Executive may revoke or modify the designation at any time by filing a new designation. However, designations will only be effective if signed by the Executive and accepted by the Company during the Executive's lifetime. The Executive's beneficiary designation shall be deemed automatically revoked if the beneficiary predeceases the Executive, or if the Executive names a spouse as beneficiary and the marriage is subsequently dissolved. If the Executive dies without a valid beneficiary designation, all payments shall be made to the Executive's estate.
Filing Designation The City Department Director will designate each individual who will be providing services to the City pursuant to the Agreement as full disclosure, limited disclosure, or excluded from disclosure, based on an analysis of the services the Consultant will provide. Notwithstanding this designation or anything in the Agreement, the Consultant is ultimately responsible for complying with FPPC regulations and filing requirements. Pursuant to the duly adopted City of Chula Vista Conflict of Interest Code, this document shall serve as the written determination of the consultant’s requirement to comply with the disclosure requirements set forth in the Code.
Timber Designations Timber designated for cutting shall be confined to Sale Area, except as provided in B2.131, B2.14, B2.15, B2.32, and B5.1. Sale Area Map indicates subdivisions, if any, where Marking under B2.35 is to be done after timber sale advertisement, except for construction clearing under B2.32, minor changes under B2.37, and damaged timber. The boundaries of Clearcutting Units, Overstory Re- moval Units, and Understory Removal Units were plainly Marked on ground before timber sale advertisement and are shown on Sale Area Map. Boundary trees shall not be cut. The number of units and approximate acreage of timber designations are stated in A3.
Teachers with Principal Designations (Effective October 22, 2019, the following repeals and replaces clause 4.4. above)
Written Designation The Owner shall designate, in writing, a representative authorized to act on the Owner's behalf with respect to the Project. The Owner hereby designates the party identified in the Contract as its initial authorized representative and reserves the right to designate additional or replacement representatives by written notice to the Contractor.
Designation of Key Personnel The Contractor’s Contract Manager for this engagement shall be Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx, Phone: (000) 000-0000, Email Address: xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx. The City’s Contract Manager for the engagement shall be Xxx Xxxxx, Phone: ( 512 ) 974 - 8211 , Email Address: Xxx.Xxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. The City and the Contractor resolve to keep the same key personnel assigned to this engagement throughout its term. In the event that it becomes necessary for the Contractor to replace any key personnel, the replacement will be an individual having equivalent experience and competence in executing projects such as the one described herein. Additionally, the Contractor will promptly notify the City Contract Manager and obtain approval for the replacement. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Application for Vacancies All employees under this Agreement, including those on layoff status, may submit application in writing for any vacancy which is posted pursuant to this Article.
Designation The Executive shall designate a Beneficiary by completing and signing the Beneficiary Designation Form and delivering it to the Plan Administrator or its designated agent. If the Executive names someone other than the Executive’s spouse as a Beneficiary, the Plan Administrator may, in its sole discretion, determine that spousal consent is required to be provided in a form designated by the Plan Administrator, executed by the Executive’s spouse and returned to the Plan Administrator. The Executive’s beneficiary designation shall be deemed automatically revoked if the Beneficiary predeceases the Executive or if the Executive names a spouse as Beneficiary and the marriage is subsequently dissolved. The Executive shall have the right to change a Beneficiary by completing, signing and otherwise complying with the terms of the Beneficiary Designation Form and the Plan Administrator’s rules and procedures. Upon the acceptance by the Plan Administrator of a new Beneficiary Designation Form, all Beneficiary designations previously filed shall be cancelled. The Plan Administrator shall be entitled to rely on the last Beneficiary Designation Form filed by the Executive and accepted by the Plan Administrator prior to the Executive’s death.
