Common use of Hiring or Employment of Faculty Clause in Contracts

Hiring or Employment of Faculty. Employment of staff for Point of Discovery School will be accomplished through a collaboration of Point of Discovery School Governance Crew representatives and District administrative staff. As of the effective date of this Contract, all Point of Discovery School staff will remain District employees under standard individual employment contracts, to the extent required by law or District policy. The District shall conduct background screening and forward eligible candidates for the posted position. Point of Discovery School will make recommendations for final employment to the District’s Director of Secondary Education who will forward the recommendations to the District’s Director of Human Resources and the District Board.
