Holiday Falling on a Non. Scheduled Workday‌ (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu which shall be scheduled by mutual agreement between the employee and Employer. (b) If an employee is called in to work on the day designated as the lieu day pursuant to (a) above, he shall be compensated at the time and one-half rate. (c) An employee who works on a designated holiday which is not a scheduled workday shall be considered to have worked overtime and shall receive his regular day's pay, and shall receive additional compensation at the rate of time and one-half for hours worked, except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time.
