Common use of HOLIDAY IN-LIEU TIME SCHEDULING Clause in Contracts

HOLIDAY IN-LIEU TIME SCHEDULING. The appointing authority shall schedule time off to which an employee is entitled as compensating time off pursuant to Subsection b. of Section 6.8 or as an in- lieu holiday pursuant to Subsection b. of Section 8.1 in accordance with the needs of the department. At the discretion of the appointing authority, in-lieu holiday time off may be scheduled to be used either on a regular monthly basis or may be accumulated and used in a manner substantially the same as the accumulation and use of vacation credit pursuant to Section 9.3.

HOLIDAY IN-LIEU TIME SCHEDULING. The appointing authority shall schedule time off to which an employee is entitled as compensating time off pursuant to Subsection b. a. of Section 6.8 7.2, or as an in- in lieu holiday pursuant to Subsection b. of Section 8.1 9.1, in accordance with the needs of the department. At the discretion of the appointing authority, in-in lieu holiday time off may be scheduled to be used either on a regular monthly periodic basis or may be accumulated and used in a manner substantially the same as the accumulation and use of vacation credit pursuant to Section 9.310.1.
