Common use of Holidays for Permanent Part-Time Clause in Contracts

Holidays for Permanent Part-Time. Employees Only those employees hired into positions budgeted for twenty (20) or more hours per week and who consistently work twenty (20) or more hours per week shall be eligible to receive holiday pay. For each holiday observed by the City, the amount of holiday pay or credit provided to part-time employees shall be based upon the employee's regular work schedule, i.e., the average number of hours worked each week divided by five (5), not to exceed eight (8) hours.
