Common use of Holidays Worked Clause in Contracts

Holidays Worked. If an employee is required to work on a legal holiday listed above the employee will be paid for any hours actually worked on a legal holiday at their regular rate of pay, plus an additional payment computed at the employee’s overtime rate, for the hours actually worked by the employee on that legal holiday. Hours worked on a holiday, in excess of regularly scheduled hours, shall be compensated pursuant to the overtime provisions of this Agreement.‌
