Common use of Hospice and terminal care Clause in Contracts

The insurance covers an approved stay at a Danish hospice in connection with a terminal diagnosis made during the insurance period for up to 3 months, up to a maximum of DKK 30,000. The stay must be prescribed in writing by a doctor and we must receive a copy of the medical records indicating that the diagnosis is terminal. Alternatively, we can allocate terminal care in your home provided by a home nurse for up to 3 months, up to a maximum of DKK 30,000. The maximum expenses that can be covered for hospice or terminal care is DKK 30,000 for the entire insurance period. We may decide that it must be a hospice or a supplier designated by us.
