Common use of Hospital Privileges Clause in Contracts

Hospital Privileges. If Provider is a physician, Provider shall maintain staff privileges at a hospital designated by BCBSM as a “participating” hospital in the MA PPO network. BCBSM may waive this requirement if Provider’s practice does not require the maintenance of hospital staff privileges.

Hospital Privileges. If With respect to the MA PPO Program, if Provider is a physician, Provider shall maintain staff privileges at a hospital designated by BCBSM as a “participating” hospital in the MA PPO network. With respect to the MA PFFS Program, if Provider is a physician, Provider shall maintain staff privileges at a hospital designated by BCBSM as a “participating” hospital in either the MA PPO or MA PFFS network. BCBSM may waive this requirement if Provider’s practice does not require the maintenance of hospital staff privileges.
