Common use of Hospital Privileges Clause in Contracts

Hospital Privileges. The PMP shall have admitting privileges at a local accredited hospital. PMPs without such privileges must make arrangements for admissions with a physician of similar specialty who does have admitting privileges. These arrangements must be documented in writing and are subject to approval of the Care Select Program. PMPs who provide prenatal services must also have delivery privileges. PMPs who withdraw from or lose their hospital admitting or delivery privileges must notify the Care Select Program within seven (7) days.
