Common use of Hot Places Clause in Contracts

Hot Places. An FTM who works for more than one hour undercover in places where the temperature is raised by artificial means shall be entitled to the following allowances while working in such conditions: Between 46 and 54 degrees $0.48 per hour Celsius In excess of 54 degrees Celsius $0.64 per hour Where work continues for more than 2 hours in temperatures exceeding 54 degrees Celsius, FTMs shall be entitled to a 20 minute paid rest pause after every two hours work. The temperature shall be determined by the relevant Company supervisor after consultation with the FTM who claims the additional hourly allowance, at the time that the FTM becomes entitled to the allowance.
