Identification of Enrollees with Special Health Care Needs. (A) The Contractor shall have policies and procedures in place to identify Enrollees and Children With Special Health Care Needs using a process at the initial contact between the Contractor and Enrollees. The Contractor shall also have procedures in place to identify existing Enrollees and Children who may have Special Health Care Needs.

(B) The Contractor shall implement mechanisms to comprehensively assess Enrollees with Special Health Care needs to identify any ongoing special conditions of the Enrollee that require a course of treatment or regular care monitoring.
