Illness and Disability Benefit Coverage. A non-permanent employee who is absent from work because of illness or disability shall continue to enjoy Alberta Health Care, Extended Health and Dental benefits (if qualified above) without costs until the employee has been absent for a period of twelve (12) months or until the employee's normal lay-off date, whichever occurs first.
