Common use of Illness or Injury on a Clause in Contracts

Illness or Injury on a. Paid Holiday Employees entitled to a Paid Holiday who are scheduled to work on that Paid Holiday as set out in 15.01 (a) and do not report for work due to illness or injury shall receive sick pay for that day (if they have sufficient sick leave accumulation to draw from) and shall be granted a paid day in lieu at a time mutually agreed between the employee and their department within twelve (12) months of the Paid Holiday. If such employee does not have sufficient sick leave accumulation to cover the day they shall receive holiday pay as set out herein.
