Impairment Leave. “Impairment Leave is available where a teacher is unable to teach because of an impairment substantial in nature and duration, including major surgery, pregnancy, childbirth, physical or mental illness, or injury. Impairment Leave is unpaid unless Sick Leave is available and able to be utilized concurrently in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement.”
