Improper disposal and illicit discharges. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to improperly dispose any contaminant into the Town of Arlington MS4. Contaminants include, but are not limited to the following: (i) Trash or debris; (ii) Construction materials; (iii) Petroleum products including but not limited to oil, gasoline, grease, fuel oil, or hydraulic fluids; (iv) Antifreeze and other automotive products; (v) Metals in either particulate or dissolved form; (vi) Flammable or explosive materials; (vii) Radioactive material; (viii) Batteries, including but not limited to, lead acid automobile batteries, alkaline batteries, lithium batteries, or mercury batteries; (ix) Acids, alkalis, or bases; (x) Paints, stains, resins, lacquers, or varnishes; (xi) Degreasers and/or solvents; (xii) Drain cleaners; (xiii) Pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers; (xiv) Steam cleaning wastes; (xv) Soaps, detergents, or ammonia; (xvi) Swimming pool backwash including chlorinated swimming pool discharge; (xvii) Chlorine, bromine, and other disinfectants; (xviii) Heated water; (xix) Animal waste from commercial animal or feeder lot; (xx) Any industrial and sanitary wastewater, including leaking sewers or connections; (xxi) Recreational vehicle waste; (xxii) Animal carcasses; (xxiii) Food wastes; (xxiv) Medical wastes; (xxv) Collected lawn clippings, leaves, branches, bark, and other fibrous materials; (xxvi) Collected silt, sediment, or gravel; (xxvii) Dyes, except as stated in subsection (B); (xxviii) Chemicals, not normally found in uncontaminated water; (xxix) Any hazardous material or waste, not listed above; (xxx) Washing of fresh concrete for cleaning and/or finishing purposes or to expose aggregates; (xxxi) Junk motor vehicles, as defined in subsection (c); (xxxii) Liquid from solid waste disposal containers. (xxxiii) Domestic animal waste Penalties for minor discharges that have no significant adverse impact on safety, health, the welfare of the environment, or the functionality of the town’s storm water collection system may be waived at the discretion of the Manager.

  • DISCIPLINE/DISCHARGE 25.01 A Shop Xxxxxxx, or in the absence of a Shop Xxxxxxx, another employee in the bargaining unit selected by the employee affected, and in the event the member is a Shop Xxxxxxx, another Shop Xxxxxxx or an official full-time Union Representative, shall be present from the beginning of the meeting when a member of the bargaining unit: a) is given a reprimand which is to be entered on the employee’s personnel file; b) is suspended or discharged. In unusual circumstances, where it is necessary for the Employer to advise an employee by mail of discharge, the Union office will be mailed a copy of such notice. Absence of a Shop Xxxxxxx or Assistant Shop Xxxxxxx or another employee shall not invalidate the discipline, except in exceptional circumstances. 25.02 The affected employee, a Shop Xxxxxxx and the Union, shall be given a copy of any disciplinary notice which is to be entered on an employee's personnel file. The affected employee, the Shop Xxxxxxx, and the Union shall also be given a copy of any discharge notice that is given to an employee. In all cases of discipline or discharge the Employer shall notify the affected employee, and a Shop Xxxxxxx and the Union in writing of the reasons for taking such action. The notice of discipline or discharge shall be given to the affected employee and a Shop Xxxxxxx promptly and a copy of the discipline or discharge notice shall be forwarded to the Union office via fax within two (2) business days (excluding Saturday and Sunday and General Holidays) of the event. 25.03 Employees covered by this Agreement shall have access to their own personnel file, upon written request by the employee involved. Employees shall be able to obtain copies of their personnel file when requested, at the employee's expense. The Employer shall keep only one (1) personnel file per employee. (a) Employee’s written corrective action documentation(s) other than suspension will be taken from an employee’s file after fifteen (15) months should no similar offence have occurred during said period. (b) Employee’s suspension documentation(s) will be taken from an employee’s file after thirty (30) months should no similar offence have occurred during said period. (c) All documentation(s) including corrective action and suspension relating to incident(s) and/or complaint(s) of discrimination or harassment nature shall remain in an employee’s file.

  • Personal Property Reimbursement Employees shall, in proper cases, be reimbursed for the repair or replacement of personal property damaged in the line of duty without fault of the employee. The amount of reimbursement for articles of clothing shall be the depreciated value based on the age and condition of the article. Reimbursement for a watch shall be limited to the functional value of the watch.

  • WIFE’S PROPERTY It is declared by the Couple that, under this Agreement, the Wife shall be the owner of the following assets and property:

  • Discharged Liabilities Paid, discharged or satisfied any claim, obligation or liability in excess of US $10,000 in the aggregate, except for liabilities incurred prior to the date of this Agreement in the ordinary course of business;

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance The plan provides accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage in an amount equal to your basic group life insurance (two times your current annual salary). Coverage is provided 24 hours per day, anywhere in the world, for any accident resulting in death, dismemberment, paralysis, loss of use, or loss of speech or hearing. If you sustain an injury caused by an accident occurring while the policy is in force which results in one of the following losses, within 365 days of the accident, the benefit shown will be paid to you. In the case of accidental death, the benefit will be paid to the beneficiary you have named to receive your group life insurance benefits. Benefits are payable in accordance with the following schedule: · Life · Both Hands or Both Feet · Entire Sight of Both Eyes · One Hand and One Foot · One Hand and Entire Sight of One Eye · One Foot and Entire Sight of One Eye · Speech and Hearing in Both Ears · Use of Both Arms or Both Legs or Both Hands · Quadriplegia (total paralysis of both upper and lower limbs) · Paraplegia (total paralysis of both lower limbs) · Hemiplegia (total paralysis of upper and lower limbs of one side of the body) · One Arm or One Leg · Use of One Arm or One Leg · One Hand or One Foot · Entire Sight of One Eye · Speech or Hearing in Both Ears · Use of One Hand or One Foot · Thumb and Index Finger of One Hand · Four Fingers of One Hand

  • Good Discharge (a) Any payment to be made in respect of the Secured Liabilities by the Security Agent may be made to the Facility Agent on behalf of the Secured Parties and any payment made in that way shall be a good discharge, to the extent of that payment, by the Security Agent. (b) The Security Agent is under no obligation to make the payments to the Facility Agent under paragraph (a) above in the same currency as that in which the obligations and liabilities owing to the relevant Finance Party are denominated.

  • Litigation and Contingent Obligations There is no litigation, arbitration, governmental investigation, proceeding or inquiry pending or, to the knowledge of any of their officers, threatened against or affecting the Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries which could reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect or which seeks to prevent, enjoin or delay the making of any Loans. Other than any liability incident to any litigation, arbitration or proceeding which could not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect, the Borrower has no material contingent obligations not provided for or disclosed in the financial statements referred to in Section 5.4.

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment The Employer agrees to provide all active full-time employees with Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefit coverage equal to one (1) times their annual earnings in case of accidental death. Coverage is also provided for other losses such as speech and hearing, use of arms and legs, etc.
