Common use of Improvement Clause in Contracts

Improvement. Any Contractor changes, patches, corrections, repairs, replacements, additions, modifications, enhancements, updates, releases, revisions, error fixes, bug fixes or any new versions of Deliverables, or any combination of the foregoing, that are to be or may be provided as a Deliverable from time to time. An Improvement may serve any purpose. Improvements do not include upgrades to software for which Contractor charges its customers, or upgrades by a Licensor that is charging Contractor for such upgrade.
