That as a licensed pre-need or l i fe insurance agent it is the Independent Contractor's responsibility to completely understand the products, commission schedules, commission chargeback provisions, and other pertinent features and benefits pertaining to the companies and products that the Independent Contractor contracts with and to properly solicit and market these products to consumers in accordance with the insurance solicitation laws and consumer protection laws within the state(s) where the Independent Contractor holds a resident and/or non-resident license.
