Informal Performance Discussions. A. The State and CSEA Local 1000 encourage periodic informal performance conferences between Unit 17 employees and their supervisor to discuss work performance, job satisfaction, and work-related problems. Except when immediate action is necessary for health or safety reasons, such discussions shall be held in a private setting or sufficiently removed from the hearing range of other persons. B. The issuance of work instructions by a supervisor does not constitute an informal performance discussion. This section shall not be construed to limit, in any manner, a supervisor’s right to issue work instructions.
