Common use of Informal Settlement Discussions Clause in Contracts

Informal Settlement Discussions. CRONA or the Employer may attempt to resolve a grievance at any time or at any level through informal settlement discussions. Such discussions shall in no way interfere with the grievance procedure nor require the participation of the grieving Nurse. All such discussions shall be treated as confidential and shall not be used as evidence for or against any position in any subsequent arbitration. No adjustment of a grievance through such discussions shall conflict with or supersede the terms of this Agreement or serve as precedent for the settlement of any other grievances filed under this Agreement.
