Initial Arrangement Sample Clauses

Initial Arrangement. The Parties have each entered into arrangements with Verizon which would permit traffic between ACC of KENTUCKY and HTC to be transited by the Verizon tandem office at Somerset, Kentucky making use of existing facilities which interconnect to the ACC of KENTUCKY switch in Richmond, Kentucky, as well as to the HTC switches in Pine Knot and Stearns, Kentucky. Until otherwise agreed upon by the Parties, the Parties agree to utilize this transiting alternative to exchange all traffic identified in Section 4.2.2. above, with each Party being responsible for (a) all transit charges generated by calls originated on their respective networks and (b) all costs of the facilities linking its own switch(es) to the Verizon tandem. The traffic delivered through these facilities will be subject to the compensation arrangements provided for in Section 5.0 and Appendices A and B below including but not limited to the Type 2A rate set forth in Appendix B.
